THE CRYSTAL AWARDS
The Crystal Awards will return! Four National Radio Sales companies - Astral RadioPlus, Canadian Broadcast Sales, CHUM Radio Sales and Target Broadcast Sales - are working in partnership to hold the 46th Annual Crystal Awards in March 2011; presenting a program bigger and better than ever!
The Crystal Awards honour outstanding achievement in agency and station radio creative from across Canada, showcasing innovation and celebrating a broad range of industry sectors. 'Best in Show' will receive The Platinum Award and a $10,0000 grand prize, plus the winning creative will be submitted to the Cannes Lion Awards, a worldwide competition for advertising excellence.
RMB President Gary Belgrave says, "A Crystal Award is influential in attracting new clients, a benchmark for personal excellence, and represents a best practice in the broadcast and advertising industries."
The Crystal Awards are traditionally held in March and will remain so in 2011. The call for nominations will be in early September.
